About Us
This is us, who we are! Just a little briefing of our plan.
Story of R.J.'s
Why the brand was made?
What are we trying to do with it?
Racing Joy's Automotive Club & Clothing!, But we shorten it. The car scene is a great place where we have all made memories, friends, and gone faster than we should. There are many subcultures in our hobby, but the history of street racing built within Japanese cars is unmatched when compared to any other country. Being drawn and wrapped up in the history of JDM motorsports, their icons, their technology. It's all so infatuating! We do eventually plan on expanding out to other countries and finding your favorite bit of history or race, but we decided to start in Japan because of their unique style! The golden age of racing and motorsports has passed, but we don't plan on letting it die. There is certainly no shortage of JDM enthusiasts and JDM themed clothing with more on the rise but, RJ's Autoclub is not concerned about modern day. These aren't the stories that inspired us. Our clothing and merchandise is all designed to feel like its been plucked straight from that golden age between the 70s and early 2000s. So welcome to the team! We've got plenty of ways to see what we're doing! Checkout our social medias or just message us!
Where are We Headed?
RJ's Autoclub is still in it's infantile stage, but we plan on releasing many more collections starting with our car club jackets. We chose these jackets because they were just so unique. You see a bomber jacket and you think of the past, they're a classic piece! We intend on making more clothing that gives you the feeling of being on a touge 40 years ago. We will go beyond the touge as well. Touching on rally and circuit tracks too. Our other clothing plans involve creating pieces that are familiar to the past and will still fit quite well in an old polaroid you find in your imported car.
World Building
We are not a copy and paste brand
Our Brand Identity is extremely important to us this small paragraph will shed some light onto those who stumble upon it. There are a few key components to our brand. First and foremost we style all our ads to look like they're scans of magazines from the 80s-y2k. The graphic design fits the idea that we want to bring back these classic pieces. 2nd we are a faceless brand. None of our models faces will be visible excpet on rare occasion. Showing their face will be unavoidable at times, but we try to keep it this way. Back in the 90s those successful business men would drive quite iconic and distinct cars. Having a picture of them next to an identifiable car would be quite incriminating for them, so they'd want to avoid that. Third our photo shoots and commercials will have modern cars. In this "world" all technology regressed and slowed down except for automobiles. You'll see old phones, CDs, CRT tvs, baggy pants, leather gloves, etc. The new cars will stickout with their new tech and design. This to parallel our strategy of selling an old piece of clothing in modern day. "whoa", you might say! "What about the older cars", Not to worry we will have plenty of classics involved.
